Time travel is not possible but our 3D ancient world apps are the next best thing.
When you are on location, your devices GPS and compass will follow you and bring
you through the sights and sounds of the distant past. When sitting at home use
simple touch screen navigation to explore the ancient world or take a guided tour.
Ancient World environments are constructed completely in 3D and do not use the camera view (augmented reality) and can therefore be used and enjoyed either on location or off location. Our first such app will be the Lost City of Clonmacnoise.
Clonmacnoise is one of Ireland’s most important ancient Christian settlements and is believed by many to be Ireland’s first city, long before the establishment of Dublin. It operated as a monastic settlement between the 7th and 16th centuries, reaching its zenith in the 10th to 12th centuries. This app brings back to life the sights, and sounds of this once proud Irish city and attempts to show that Clonmacnoise was a lot more than just an ecclesiastical centre, but an industrial and thriving market town too.
